My paintings explore the meeting point of science and nature through layered surfaces, shifting color, and close attention to texture. I think about the seen and unseen nature of the universe; about consciousness, identity and relationship. These pieces are acrylic or latex; some feature charcoal sketch marks. The goal is for each piece to balance structure with spontaneity to create work that feels both studied and alive.
